Welcome to the Original Suwannee River Campground, Inc. and RV Sales. In addition to offering one of the most comfortable and well equipped North Florida campgrounds, we are also a dealer in used RV sales and have a limited selection of affordable 5th wheels and Travel Trailer Campers.
We are located on Highway 19, 98, & alt 27, 3 miles South of Old Town, Florida. This is a family owned and operated RV Park. We have owned this park since July 2000. We have 70+ sites with 30 or 50 amp service. Our sites are large and shady and we welcome big rigs. All sites have water, electric, and sewer hook-ups. We also offer free cable TV, and free WIFI. We have clean restrooms and laundry rooms. There is a small store located at the office and we carry some nonperishable food items. We also carry RV Supplies and parts in the store. If there is a part you need and we don’t have it, we will get it for you or find it for you. Just across the river from us is Fanning Springs where you can get gas, oil, food, fishing supplies, restaurants or if you want, you can go to Fanning Springs State Park and go swimming in the crystal clear springs. Fanning Springs is also great for hiking, biking, or watching the wildlife.
If you need to go shopping, 8 miles south of us on Highway 19 is Chiefland, Florida. They have a Super Wal-Mart, Radio Shack, Winn Dixie, Beals Outlet, fast food places and other independently operated restaurants. We are one of the most convenient Chiefland RV park sites. Or you could go about 30 Miles East on Highway 26 to Gainesville, Florida to the mall, hospitals, or restaurants. And 60 miles south is Crystal River and Homosassa, Florida where you could go swimming and see the Manatees, Alligators or other wildlife. The Anderson Wildlife and refuge is also close by.
For the Ladies that like to shop around, we have an historical quilt museum close by. For the Red Hats ladies there are plenty for them too. There are historical towns and cities within 100 mile or fewer radiuses.
